I'm Aisling. I'm a "dorkerella," on the never ending quest to be the world's greatest know-it-all. This is my story.
So I came home sick yesterday after a whopping 3 hours at school. Wheeeee. But I'm going today because I have double drama, which is stellar.
I FINALLY got my criminal record check in! It only took forever. Oh yes, and an amazing 40$ to print 3 lines! Wow! AND I actually talked to Alex from Montreal! Progress, always progress.
I just read le blog de Meggerz, and she has SUCH an awesome English project! Here, I'll repost what she wrote because it rocks!
"I'm actually really stoked for this project I was assigned yesterday in English class. We have to write a frame story where we are the grandparents talking to our ten year old grandkids about our high school experience. Yeah, trippy much. And we have to do a little project with pictures detailing our four years. I'm gonna do a powerpoint slideshow and have one song playing in the background the whole time. I went through my whole itunes library today trying to find the perfect one. So i have it down to about 15 songs. I refuse to do "Iris" by GooGooDolls or "Graduation" by Vitamin C cause that's way too cliche. I have a week until my rough draft is due. I dont know why, but I really just want mine to be so good. To show all my peers that this is who I am. I'm completely different from my freshman year."Isn't that a great assignment?!?!?!?!? I would totally do that just for fun! Maybe I will..... thanks Meg- persuading me to do extra work without realizing it.
Anyway, it's almost time for school so I'd better book it. I haven't actually gone to French since last Wednesday or Thursday, so I should probably make an appearance. But honestly, I don't care about it anymore. I know I'm bilingual, and I already have my diploma, so graduation is already sacked up and ready to go. At this point, I'm so apathetic about my schoolwork that it makes me a bit guilty toward my teachers. I mean, I know they work hard, but I can't matchg their enthusiasm. What do they call it? Senioritis? Well, I have a bad case, that's for sure.
I can't wait for the end of June.
