I hate when you get what you want and it ends up not being what you want at all.
A wise girl said that.
She doesn't realise how brilliant she is either. But if she's reading this - hugs! (I'm glad you had a great time at prom, dahling, keep livin' it up.)
Anyway, it's awful when something like that happens! It's like when you strive for something- you work so hard and you dream of this amazing outcome where everything is okay, and then you get to the end and it's like... that's it? It's soooooo disappointing!
Anyway, this is just a day-to-day entry today. You may find it boring, but bear with me, I couldn't come up with an interesting topic.
Yesterday Lissa and Justine came over for the night. We went to 7/11 and spent a LOT of money on candy. A LOT. Ha ha. So, that was fun. And we watched Saved! which is an awesome movie. 'Twas fun. Then this morning we ate some yummy food. Strawberry pancakes with syrup and whipped cream and yummmmmmmmmmm. Legally Blonde is on now, too, so that's good. Then later this evening we're having a barbecue type thing. So, yup, pretty boring as far as whirlwind adventures go.
ARRRGGGGGG, it INFURIATES ME that this blog is so unbelievably boring. I'll come up with a better topic and I'll be back later.

Nah .. your blog is far from boring :)
btw , there's this quote from www.despair.com "sometimes , a journey of a thousand miles ends very VERY badly" and they displayed a picture of a trout (or salmon) leaping into a bear's mouth ..
it's very dissapointing and frustrating ain't it ? to slave your ass off just to find that the reward isn't as brilliant as we imagined .
but that's life :(
