I'm Aisling. I'm a "dorkerella," on the never ending quest to be the world's greatest know-it-all. This is my story.

New blog.

Ahh yes, here is my brand-new blog. Why? Because my Xanga got boring because everyone abandonned it. So, I've jackrabbited back to my blogger, where my darling Lissa now also resides. Besides, I adore blogger, whereas I detested Xanga and only used it because of my spiffy amigas. Also, Meesa (Cali.) opened a new MB so I can contact the gurlz that way. Yay.

So, let's see.... this is something like my 27th blog (including personal sites, mind you) since I started this whole net thing when I was 11 (7 years ago!!!!). That's a lot. Let's see how long this can last.

What's new with me? Or more importantly, who am I? Well, I'm Aisling. That's pronounced Ashleen. Aisling = Ashleen. It's complicated so call me Ash, I guess. Most others do. I'm 18, and I live in the booming rednecktropolis of Calgary, in Canada. Recently, I received my high school diploma! God, was I excited. Nobody else really was though :( Hmmmm, disappointing. Actually, not entirely accurate, my MBgurlz were exstatic!

I'm just starting to wind-down from the two busiest weeks of my school year- Performance Week and Drama Festival. You would think that two weeks that I'm never at school would be nice and not leave me exhausted. Wrong. My first full day at Festival found me toting around a camera for yearbook, losing my belongings, getting stabbed by swords repeatedly (in my Sword-fighting workshop), and eating Kentucky Fried Chicken (#1. I am a vegetarian and #2. Even if I wasn't, KFC treats their animals like.... crap.). IT WAS LIKE I WAS ON CRACK OR SOMETHING!!!! I DON'T KNOW UP FROM DOWN. AND I spoke to this girl who was until recently my friend (except obviously not since who in their right minds says something so hateful, even if they do want to stay at a party that badly?!?), even though I didn't want to. It's okay though- friday evening with Kat before Mainstage provided me with just enough stone-cold resolution to resume my hatred even further. Okay, hatred is a bit strong, because in reality, I don't hate anybody. But it's pretty close. Ah, well, I will be the bigger person that I know I can be. I mean, atleast I work through my problems now instead of unloading my troubles on others. Right???

Right?

I'll take the lack of response by this abyss as the personal gratification I need.

Anyway, that's the basic lowdown right now, what's on my mind, or whatever. I'd probably write more if I could, but I'm burning some CDs for my mom and it makes my computer run slower than.... well, me! (I am not athletic)

Anyway, check out my MYSPACE!!!

Not much happened while you were at Drama Festival, I hope that you had a super-dee-duper time, and that Anne didnt ruin your time.
3 Cheers for being the bigger person!
