Tres belle, n'est pas? Ah oui, c'est comme MISS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!
I was covered in sparkles the rest of the day. AND the red and pink make-up STAINED MY SKIN so I looked like I had a bad burn until I got a hold of some make-up remover.
Okay, enough of that insanity.
The funniest thing happened yesterday, in French.
It was around 2pm, and class ends at 2.20pm. We had a sub, so nobody was really doing anything, because we didn't have very much work to begin with. So, a couple of people left claiming they had projects to do in the library. So, Matt, Michelle and I said we had a project too.
The funny part?
We said we had a Celtic Dance Project.
So, here we are blabbing on about our Celtic Dance project and the sub asks us to do some Celtic dance. So, without hesitation, Matt and I link arms and start bouncing up and down. Michelle is behind us practically peeing herself! And the sub is watching us Celtic dance! Then she starts talking about how she does tango dancing and how lucky we are to havce a dance program at our school. We heartily agree, even though none of us are in said program, and I start blubbering stuff about ballet (which I took from age 4 to 10 but am honestly not too great at), and go right into the dance interlude from "The Butterfly Observation," (The play I had just done earlier that day).
At this point I was sure our story was too hard to believe... but then she let us go!!!!!!
So we went down to the Pit, and demonstrated our Celtic Dancing for everyone.
And thus began our careers as celtic dancers.
