Yay! An Update!

So, is it just me, or is Blogger being a jerk to everyone??? Lol. Seriously, it keeps getting errors, but nothing else on my computer is having problems! So frusterating!

Anyway, here is the new, long-term layout. I shall be making it look more spiffy and matching soon enough, but in Blogger's current state, it is too much of a migraine.

I'm home sick today. I was up all last night with migraines and a sore tummy. So, I decided to stay home. Today would be my double spare day anyway, so I doubt I'm missing out on much.

As promised, I will dig up some more photos, but first, allow me to recap "Graduation Day!"

My mom attempted to wake me up at 6am. So, I rebelled by sleeping until 6.30. Then I got up, and my mom straightened the back of my hair which was a right mess from me sleeping on it. Then I did my make-up, and I looked hecka good. Then I realized I forgot to put my contacts in!!!! Auuuuuggghhhhhhh. So, I put them in and surprise&&surprise again, they watered like a crazy watering sprinkler!!!! So, I had to re-do my make-up, this time looking less spiffy and more puffy, swollen and tired. I thought about me passing out on stage, so I ate a yogurt. Then the family and I gathered in the yard for photographs. That was fun. The sun was in our eyes the whole time.

Now we went to the Jubilee Auditorium, where we proceeded to run around and get a ginormous gown and hug lots of people, and take a few photos. After that we were herded into a holding area, and asked to put ourselves in alphabetical order. WOW. That takes a LONG time!!!!! I was surprised the teachers didn't take one look and tell us none of us could graduate because we're all morons. We even had cards in alphabetical order WITH the number we were in our group. I was #50, which just makes me really cool.

Here comes the part when we walk in with bagpipers play, and I concentrate in not falling down the stairs. By the time I get to my seat, I figure I'm safe and look up to see the audience. HOLY CRAP. There were SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!! It was pure insanity, and too much to take in, so I just watched the bag pipers. Kilts are weird. Blah blah blah, talk talk talk. The speeches were all pretty good, and then it's time to walk the stage. And miraculously, I DO NOT FALL. HA! Take that! Unfortuently, I went so fast across the stage there are no photos to commemorate this occassion. Sitting through the next 300 people was pretty boring because I didn't even know half of them!!!! It's like, where was I these last three years???

After we marched out in front of everyone and ditched the blasted robes, I went to talk to some people. Then I wanted a photo with Lissa, but I couldn't find her anywhere!!!!! It was SO sad! My dad went searching EVERYWHERE and couldn't find her!

I think in July, we need to have a big "pretty day," and go somewhere pretty and just take photos of all our main group of friends looking spiffy.

After the ceremony, we went for lunch at East Side Mario's where I ate delicious bread, then later on Gram, Dad and I went to BINGO where I proceeded to win nothing. Gram won 90$ though, so that was good, and BINGO is FUNNNNNNN!!!!!

Here are some pics now for your viewing enjoyment.

In The Backyard The Crew: Karla, Anne, Kayla, Justine, Me, Jake Karla, Justine and I Outside the Jubilee.

You should be able to hover over the photo for a description, unless you are using Firefox, in which case- don't worry! The descriptions aren't very interesting!

Oh, and for good measure, here's a photo of me at the Awards Ceremony, receiving my Citizenship award!

At Awards Ceremony

That's all from me for now! Sorry if the pics are too big/ too small, I'll try to fix it later!
