I'm Aisling. I'm a "dorkerella," on the never ending quest to be the world's greatest know-it-all. This is my story.

Lyrics for the road.

Well, I was going to copy some cool notes I found in my 8th grade French Language Arts Workbook, but I'm too lazy to go get it.

Instead, here are the songs that are making me go "*siigggghhhh* all is right with the world....."

Today's songs are brought to you by the letter 'V,' because they are from my all-time favourite movie:

V for Vendetta

This is by Cat Power, but I think it was originally by Velvet Underground:

I Found A Reason

"Oh I do believe
In all the things you say
What comes is better than what came before
And youd better come come, come come to me
Better come come, come come to meBetter run, run run, run run to me
Better come

Oh I do believe
In all the things you say
What comes is better that what came before
And youd better run run, run run to me
Better run, run run, run run to me
Better come, come come, come come to me
Youd better run"

I love the piano in it. The whole song is just so simple. And simplicity is amazing.

This is called "Cry Me A River." But it has nothing to do with Justin Timberlake. It's by a wonderful lady named Julie London. It's such a great song, so bluesy and jazzy.

"Now you say you're lonely
You cry the whole night through
Well, you can cry me a river, cry me a river
I cried a river over you
Now you say you're sorry
For bein' so untrue
Well, you can cry me a river, cry me a river
I cried a river over you
You drove me, nearly drove me out of my head
While you never shed a tear
Remember, I remember all that you said
Told me love was too plebeian
Told me you were through with me and
Now you say you love me
Well, just to prove you do
Come on and cry me a river, cry me a river
I cried a river over you
I cried a river over you
I cried a river over you
I cried a river over you"

Why can't there be more music like this? Just simple, and nice, with real human emotion. Nothing about pimps, and bitches, just... real. Reality. Life is complicated enough, simplicity has virtue.

That's all from me for now. I shoulds probably go to bed soon- I have to work from 9-5 tomorrow.
